At Penelewey Meadows, we’ve embraced rewilding to transform former agricultural land, once used for daffodil cultivation, into a thriving haven for nature. We began by reseeding the fields with hardy grasses as the foundation of our five-year plan to establish a flourishing wildflower and grass meadow. By allowing the hedgerows to expand to five meters, we’ve created vital wildlife corridors that support local biodiversity. Looking ahead, we plan to sustainably nourish our plants using compost from our eco-friendly toilets, fostering a harmonious relationship between the land and our rewilding efforts.
